Pam Overton RN, NHA Director of Health Services Pam is originally from Evansville, Indiana. She earned her nursing degree from The University of Evansville, and has dedicated her 34 year career to caring for the elderly. Pam has been happily married for 34 years and has 1 grown daughter. In order to spend time with her daughter while she was growing up, Pam decided to start her own company. In 1989 she started Pamela Overton and Associates, which was a Geriatric Care Management Company. Realizing the need for small assisted living facilities to meet the needs of the frail elderly she also opened a small ALF in 1995. Her facility “The Seaview Inn” was well known for its loving care with those extra special touches and always had a waiting list. After being a private business owner for close to 10 years, she decided to return to the corporate world and joined The Alterra Corporation as the Regional Health Care Specialist for South Florida in 2000. After five years on the highways of South Florida and experiencing the horrific hurricane season of 2004, when the position at the Glenridge became available she jumped at the chance to get off of the road and enjoy living, working and playing back in Sarasota. Pam loves to travel, she loves her mountain home in north Georgia, she loves her cocker spaniel Abbey and most of all she loves the time she spends with her husband John.
